For the past two years I have been building a wooden sailing boat that is big enough to sail comfortably but small enough to fit in my garage. The boat I have chosen is a François Vivier Ebihen 16 and the wood I have used is a very lightweight timber called paulownia (also known as Kiri – hence the boat name).

Turning the boat over.

First test run of the ePropulsion 3kw electric motor.
