Dec 2002 – The boat arrives safely home at Springwood in the Blue Mountains (a long way from the water).

I thought an electric motor would be the best way to go, but it only gave me 2 hours of power before the 3 batteries ran out of oomph. It did work well in those 2 hours.

Jan 2003 – starting to do the rigging. I do love the look of a gaff.

The staysail and jib.

Looking good with all sails up.

Feb 2003 – a bit of varnished trim adds to the charm.

Hand made fitting for the side stays.

These work well and look great too.

Almost ready for sailing. (The tiller is upside down at this stage – it seems to look good either way)

Feb 2003- Away we go to the initial launching.
